Terms of Service

Welcome to Flip It Golf. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Flip It Golf ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Important: This agreement is between you and Flip It Golf, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. However, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Flip It Golf app on iOS devices that you own or control, subject to the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the app
• Reverse engineer or decompile the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Transfer your license to anyone else

3. Accounts

Eligibility. You must be at least 13 years old to use Flip It Golf. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access
• One account per person

4. Fair play

Flip It Golf is a social side-game played alongside regular golf.

• Play honestly and in good faith
• Don't exploit bugs or glitches
• Accept flip results — they're determined by random number generation
• Be respectful to other players

Any player in a game may log hole results. We rely on the honor system.

6. User content

Your content. You retain ownership of photos and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a license to display it within the app to other game participants.

Prohibited content

• Illegal content
• Harassment or threats
• Spam
• Content that infringes others' rights

We may remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not guarantee:

• The app will be available at all times
• The app will be error-free
• Your data will never be lost
• Flip results will match your expectations

We are not responsible for:

• Your golf game
• Your relationships with other players
• Any money you lose (or win)
• Decisions you make based on flip results

Apple's disclaimer. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for this app. Apple is not responsible for any claims related to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, and intellectual property claims.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the app is limited to the greater of:

• $50 USD, or
• The amount you paid for the app

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Lost profits or data
• Personal injury (except where required by law)
• Damages arising from disputes with other players

9. Termination

By you. You can delete your account at any time from within the app.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Abuse other users
• Engage in fraudulent activity

Upon termination, your license ends.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA.

12. Dispute resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Salt Lake City, Utah, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
